Smarticle English was created after several individuals working in the schools and education centers in Hong Kong recognized the strong need for a center that makes learning fun and engages children in a variety of activities that encompass all types of learners. Many centers in Hong Kong fail to identify the needs of the individual child. Smarticle English has created a place that caters to the specific needs of students. Smarticle English is determined to provide your child with the fundamentals of English while making it an exciting and invigorating process. In addition, Smarticle’s English classes incorporate the important social and developmental skills into its curriculum. Smarticle English caters to the individual learning needs of each of its students, while maintaining the highest educational standards.

Our Educators
KATHERYN SHULL
Katie is an American Native English Teacher and Co-Curriculum Director who graduated from Hong Kong International School.
She has taught in four different countries, including two schools in Hong Kong and two in the United States and has extensive experience working with children ages 12 months to 15 years. At University, Katie wrote her senior dissertation on the Hong Kong and Chinese education systems. Katie loves working with children of all ages and is famous for making learning fun and pushing kids to always do the best they can!
CHELSEA WERTH
Chelsea is an American Native English Teacher and Co-Curriculum Director who graduated from Hong Kong International School and has been living in Hong for eight years.
She attended Valparaiso University and received a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education. Chelsea has taught in the United States and Hong Kong in learning centers, public schools and international school settings. She has worked with students ranging from 9 months to 17 years old through a variety of courses. Chelsea loves to use her knowledge in education to help students achieve their goals and be proud of their own learning accomplishments!
